"You're trying to quit. And I'm not gonna let you."
- Miss Calleros[src]

Miss Calleros is a physics teacher at Brooklyn Visions Academy.

Biography[]

Miss Calleros noticed one of her new students, Miles Morales. Miles was often late to her classes and was trying to intentionally fail to get kicked out of the school.

One day during her Physics class, she was showing the student footage of Dr. Olivia Octavius of Alchemax talking about her research on alternate dimensions when Miles arrived to her class late. She called him out and later shushed him and another new student, Gwen Stacy, after the two started whispering to one another. After class, she spoke to Miles about his exam which he'd scored a 0 out of 100. She was able to trick Miles by asking a question that Miles correctly answered before giving him a passing grade. She then pointed out that the only way Miles could have gotten this score was if he knew the correct answers to avoid and called him out for trying to quit.

To discourage the behavior, she assigned Miles a personal essay about himself and the kind of person he wants to be. After some hurdles, Miles was able to submit the essay and accepted his place in the school.

Sometime later she meets and befriend Miles' parents to the point she was invited when Jefferson Morales was promoted to Captain.
