Trivia[]

  • In the comics, Earth-616 is the "prime-universe" — the main setting of most of its non-alternate universe storylines as well considered by many to be the source dimension of the multiverse.
    • According to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Jake Johnson and some trailers from the aforementioned movie, this universe is the prime/original universe set in the multiverse of the franchise.[1]
      • While in the Miles universe there is also a version of Coca Cola, the Peter B. Parker universe is the only one that has it spelled correctly. With the universe of Miles Morales saying Koka Soda instead of Coca Cola like the Peter B. Parker universe. Which forces the fact that this universe is the real spider-man universe as well as ours.
    • Peter's backstory, was initially going to include images that revealed that in this universe also served the home of villains, like Rhino, Venom as well as other superheroes like the Hulk.[2]
  • Despite its in-universe designations, as this film series is an adaptation, officially, the universes in the series have been assigned (currently temporary) Earth designations, with Peter's E-616 currently designated as Earth-TRN701.
    • As of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, this universe has been officially designated as "Earth-616B" which would make it a variation of the original universe that the "Amazing Spider-Man" comics as well as most comics published by Marvel Comics that Peter's character is originally based on take place in.
