• In the comics this iteration of Gwen Stacy was a high school classmate of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson who was killed until she was revived by Otto Octavius as Carnage until Spider-Man manage to return him to normal.
• Despite not actually appearing in the franchise, Phil Lord confirmed that Gwen Stacy does indeed exist in Miles' world since it was based on the Ultimate Marvel Universe. This is the reason why they had Gwen use a nickname when first meeting Miles in case he was aware of this other Gwen Stacy.
