Helen Stacy was the wife of former police chief George Stacy and mother of student and vigilante Gwen Stacy. She died some time early in Gwen's childhood.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Helen's life. At some point, she fell in love with and married Police Captain George Stacy. The married couple would live in Chelsea at their apartment and would have a single daughter together which they would name Gwendolyn.
Unfortunately, Helen would pass away early in the life of her young daughter which resulted in her barely knowing or not even knowing her mother at all. Helen would leave a birthday gift for her daughter, one that remains unopened and in Gwen's drumset alongside the only photo she has of herself with Miles.

Trivia[]
- There are two instances which reference Helen's existence, specifically in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
- The first instance is a birthday gift labelled "Happy Birthday, Mom" that is seen next to the polaroid selfie she has of herself and Miles that she took on the bus ride back from Alchemax
- The second instance is what appears to be a wedding photo between Helen and George seen during the opening montage of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The photo is seen in various other scenes in the family apartment as well.
- After her passing, her husband George never loved again (this is visual as Gwen continues to grow up in her life without a mom)
