Spider-Man vs Green Goblin
At one point, Spider-Man caught onto a scheme spearheaded by Kingpin and Doc Ock. Spider-Man found out about the Super-Collider and the risks that it posed: a black hole opening beneath Brooklyn and the collapse of the space-time continuum. Peter made an override key and went to the site of the collider to use the key to destroy the collider before it could destroy Brooklyn.

Spider-Man meeting Miles Morales
Spider-Man was caught by Green Goblin, however, and the two battled until he managed to defeated him, preparing himself to shut off the collider he would end up distracted after noticing a kid getting caught in the crossfire. Spider-Man saved him and, with his Spider-Sense, immediately realized that he had abilities like him. Peter offered to take the kid, now identified as Miles Morales, under his wing and help him through his adjustment period. Peter returned to his mission of turning off the collider but was ultimately stopped by Kingpin's goons, specifically the Green Goblin and Prowler, and Peter was unable to plug in his key before Kingpin activated the collider. An enraged Green Goblin picked him up and shoved him directly into the path of the collider's beams. This caused the device to overload and explode. (Unbeknownst to them, his contact with the beam also summoned Spider-People from other dimensions).[1]
Death[]

Spider-Man passing his mission to Miles as well as giving the latter his blessing to succeed him as the new Spider-Man
The explosion killed the Goblin and left Peter severely injured. Miles approached him and Peter gave him the override key, asking him to continue with his mission to destroy the collider. Hearing Kingpin's approach, Peter asked Miles to go and confronted Fisk on his own. Powerless, Peter could only sit back while Fisk unmasked him. Pleading with him to not use the machine because of the risks, Peter told Fisk that before the Collider exploded, he saw in it what Fisk was trying to accomplish—getting his deceased family from other dimensions—and pointed out that it wouldn't work. This angered Kingpin, who brutally killed the already mortally wounded Peter by smashing him under his fists.[1]
Legacy[]
- "My favorite thing about Peter is that he made us each feel powerful. We all have powers of one kind or another. But in our own way. We are all Spider-Man."
- ―Mary Jane Parker

The news of his death and identity broke to the city later that night, though Kingpin's involvement was not known, with Kingpin even putting up an act of grieving by throwing a gala in his memory, and his death was associated to the last of the recent earthquakes, also caused by the collider. A heartbroken city attended his funeral and listened to the eulogy delivered by Peter's wife, Mary Jane Parker.
Peter's words and acts of heroism later inspired Miles to eventually take up the mantle himself. Miles became determined to follow through with Peter's dying request that he destroy the collider, even insisting to a group of volunteering and experienced Spider-People that he would do it himself. Miles eventually succeeded, even using Peter's trick to propel himself up and around the collider's own machinery to get to the panel on the ceiling where the goober that could be used to control and destroy the machine was to be inserted.[1]
During the Spider-War, Miguel O'Hara told Morales that if he hadn't been bitten by the radioactive spider that Parker would still be alive.[2]

Trivia[]
- In the comics this iteration of Peter was bitten by a spider created by Oscorp during a high school excursion and decided to become Spider-Man after the dead of his Uncle Ben and operated as Spider-Man for a year after his dead at 16.
- This Peter would be around 25 years old if he was bitten at 15, like most of his iterations, and has been Spider-Man for 10 years based on his monologue. Which would made him getting bitten sometime before his 17th birthday[1]
- This version of Peter Parker has blonde hair and blue eyes, an obvious distinction from the brown hair and hazel eyes of most versions of the character. The directors said these features were added as a way to clearly differentiate his and Miles's universe from others as well as the fact that his version of Peter is an alternate version of the Peter we used to know.[4]
- As seen in one of Ganke's Spider-Man comic books, the civilian alter-ego of his fictional depiction is "Billy Barker".
- According to Miguel O'Hara, if Miles wasn't bitten by the misplaced Multiversal Spider, this version of Peter would still be alive.
- When Peter was being shoved into the Super Collider he saw His counterpart in inside before the machine Explosed and before Peter's Death he promised Miles Morales he would come and find him but he was killed but he technically kept his promises because he knew his counterpart would find Miles.
- It's implied that at difference of his main counterpart this Peter is Catholic instead of Jewish, since he was buried at the Saint Patrick's Cathedral.
- Another thing is that his Christmas album referenced Peter being also tired of the life of Spider-Man. But at the difference of Peter B., who was because all the pain he suffered from being a hero, for this Peter was because he want to do other things and lived his perfect life as Peter as fullest similar to some celebrities who wants to be recognized by other things than for their fame.
Behind the scenes:
- This version of Spider-Man has several similarities with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, played by Tobey Maguire, including:
- Peter saving a train by webbing to buildings around him and blocking the train's path (Spider-Man 2);
- a variation of his upside-down kiss with Mary Jane (Spider-Man, though in his version, it is MJ who is hanging upside down; a more accurate version was portrayed with Peter B. Parker and his MJ);
- Peter dining out with Mary Jane when they almost get hit by a car sent their way by Doc Ock (Spider-Man 2);
- Peter dancing in public (Spider-Man 3);
- Additionally, Ben Parker's "With great power comes great responsibility" line in Peter's monologue was archival recording of Cliff Robertson's voice from Spider-Man 2.
- While based in the name on the Peter Parker of Earth 1610A (the Ultimate Universe) from the comics, the different Peters have multiple differences. The comics' Earth 1610 Peter had brown hair, and died shortly after his sixteenth birthday in a fight with Green Goblin outdoors. The comics' Earth 1610 Peter also did not meet Miles Morales before his demise.[6]
- However in an animation test for the film it was shown that initially in his grave Peter was born in 2001 which would make his death being at 17 with just having a year of experience as Spider-Man. Also in another animations test it shows that Peter is killed during a battle with Green Goblin at the collider and it was him who smashed him with his fist instead of Kingpin.[7]
