Phil Lord is an American filmmaker, actor, and animator. He co-wrote the screenplay for and co-produced Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and returned for the sequel.
Lord often works alongside co-creator Christopher Miller as a filmmaking duo under their joint Lord Miller Productions banner.

- Following the success of the first film, the Lord and Miller duo signed on with Sony Pictures TV for a five-year deal, which includes "a suite of television series based on Sony's universe of Marvel characters,", live-action or animated,[1] including Spider-Man, Venom, Morbius, Black Cat, and Silver Sable, with the possibility of more Into the Spider-Verse projects.[2]
