"I never found the right band to join. So I started my own. With a few old friends."

The Spider-Gang was a team founded on Earth-1610 by Peter B. Parker on a whim, right before their first battle as a group. They were a group of six versions of Spider-People with similar powers from different alternate dimensions. They teamed up to use Wilson Fisk's Super-Collider and later destroy it to prevent it from opening up a black hole beneath that world's version of New York. This "spider-team" would disband when the spider-people return to their respective dimensions before they faded out of existence.
After the conflict with Miguel O'Hara and the Spider-Society, Gwen Stacy would reunite the group with old and new members in order to rescue Miles Morales to help him save his father and help him in his battle against the Spider-Society and Spot.
History[]

First meeting
Founding[]
First Meeting[]
The Spider-People had been displaced by a particle collider built by Dr. Olivia Octavius and Wilson Fisk, the latter of whom had ordered its construction in an effort to "bring back" his deceased wife and son; in actuality, he planned to kidnap similar versions of these two from another universe.
The group came together shortly after the death of Earth-1610's Peter Parker, after Peter B. Parker (the one and only Spider-Man in Earth-616) decided to infiltrate the Alchemax building with the newly bitten Miles Morales. They were caught by Olivia Octavius, but they were soon rescued by Gwen Stacy, also known as Spider-Woman in Earth-65.
Gwen took Peter and Miles to the house of Aunt May, who served as an ally to the Spider-Gang and provided them with a headquarters, a bunker (which used to belong to the Peter Parker of that universe). Here, Peter and Miles found three other universe-displaced Spider-People, completing the group: Peter Porker, a.k.a. Spider-Ham of Earth-8311; Peni Parker and her radioactive spider, a.k.a. SP//dr of Earth-14512; and another Peter Parker, a.k.a. The Spider-Man in Earth-90214.
Duel at Aunt May's House[]
When the group made an attempt to test Miles' powers, including his unique skills of invisibility and bioelectricity (known as a venom blast), but found that he had mastered almost none of them, they excluded him from the group, viewing him as a liability to the group and to himself. Dejectedly, Miles left the bunker, but soon returned after being found and pursued by the Prowler, who he had just learned was his own uncle. Peter asked Miles if he had been followed, but Miles was unsure. It was not long before an entire group of Fisk's henchmen, including Prowler, Octavius, Tombstone, and Scorpion, attacked May's house in an effort to retrieve the newly-created flash drive which had the potential to shut down Fisk's particle collider. In the heat of the moment, Peter B. Parker named the group the Spider-Gang and they would proceed to fight against the villains.
Death of Aaron Davis[]
After the death of Aaron Davis, Miles returned to his dorm room, where the other Spiders met him and comforted him for his loss with each member mentioning a person they failed to save. After this every Spider-Person would leave the place leaving only Miles and Peter alone, with the latter asking for the flash drive back. The Spiders planned to hijack the collider with Peter sending the other Spiders home before staying behind to shut down the collider himself, despite knowing that he would eventually die in Miles' universe.
While all of that happens, the Spider-Gang was watching as Peter tested Miles, before joining them sometime later after finding out that Miles isn't ready to be Spider-Man.
Disband[]
After Miles reemerges as the new Spider-Man, the Spider-Gang defeats the Kingpin's goons, and their friend was able to send every member of the Spider-Gang home. With each member saying their goodbyes, the team would dissolve -- however the moments they spent together were remembered by each member in their own universes, giving them a ray of hope to know they are not alone.
Moving On[]
After the multiverse was saved, each member of the Spider-Gang continued to live their normal lives with Peter B. reconnecting with his Mary Jane as they got remarried and have a daughter Mayday Parker, as she was named after his aunt May. At one point, Peter would be recruited by Miguel O'Hara to form part of the Spider-Society as one of their founding members, where he was the main witness of the consequences of breaking a Canon Event. Those events also have an effect on Miguel who became more bitter and resentful, a thing that Parker and most members began to notice. At one point, Miguel would find out that Miles was an anomaly as he prevented most of the members, including Peter, to visit him or try to recruit him. Although sad about this, Peter would accept Miguel's terms as a way to protect both Miles and his universe from perishing as well. However, Peter made Miguel promise to not tell Miles the truth or try to capture him, which he accepts.
Sometime later, Gwen Stacy fought against a alternate version of Vulture as she was mourning the death of her world's Peter Parker. After she revealed her identity to her dad, he tried to arrest her, but she would be recruited by Miguel O'Hara to join his Spider-Society at the behest of Jessica Drew. There, she would be reunited with Peter B. and Peni Parker, who was recruited in between, where they informed her about the Canon Events that define them as Spider-People, as well as their mission to protect them. Also, Miguel tells her to not recruit Miles into the Spider-Society or visit him. Wanting to protect her friend and scared of returning home, Gwen not only agreed to Miguel's terms but reluctantly the deal he made with Peter into not telling Miles the truth or try to capture him.
Meanwhile, Miles has been working hard as both himself and Spider-Man as he wanted to attend Princeton when he graduates from Vision Academy to study quantum physics so he can see his fellow Spider-People again. Also, Miles made a mural to honor his uncle Aaron and the friends that changed his life for the better. However, despite his improved life, Miles has been distant with his parents. Even though they are proud of his hard work in school, they were unsure of him attending Princeton and he in return fears what could happen to his family if they or his enemies found out he was Spider-Man. Also, Miles's secret identity caused problems in his relationship with his parents, even though both he and they feared losing each other because of what happened with Aaron. In addition, Miles fell into deep depression because he missed his fellow Spider-People, especially Gwen.
Spot's reign[]
Miles encountered a new villain named Spot as he has the power to travel the Multiverse and was able to stop him for a while. However, little did Miles know, Spot's actions have caught the intentions of the Spider-Society. Miguel sends Gwen to investigate the Spot's plan and reminded her to not see Miles. However, wanting to see the first friend she made since her Peter died, Gwen disobeyed Miguel's orders as went to see Miles again and catch up with him. While hanging out with Miles, Gwen left a device at Spot's place to look at later and helped him save a lot of people in need in his universe. Also, Gwen told Miles what she has been up to, although she didn't give too many details. Later, Gwen attended Jefferson's party to celebrate his promotion to captain in the police force as she used her Gwanda name that Miles came up when they first met when she introduces herself to his parents.
Gwen then left the party with Miles not too far behind her, after talking to his mother. Miles used his invisibility to see what Spot was up to. During the investigation, Gwen got a call from Jessica Drew, who asked her if she saw Miles. Although she tried to cover her actions, Jessica figured it out and gave her one hour to fix her mistake. Before leaving, Gwen said goodbye to Miles as she was unaware that he followed her and heard everything. Wanting to spend more time Gwen and see the rest of their friends again, Miles jumped into the portal with Spider-Women.
After exiting the portal, Miles was discovered by Gwen when he tries to save her from falling. Before he can explain himself, Gwen becomes so frustrated with Miles that she harshly told him that she should't have come. Despite this, Gwen put it aside as she knew Miles could help out. Miles then meet Spider-Punk and Pavitr Prabhakar as they help the two in an attempt to stop the Spot from getting more powerful. However, they failed but did save a lot of people of Pavitr's dimension with Miles saving the police captain, but was unaware that he disturbed a Canon Event, which Gwen tried to stop, although she was also trying to protect her friend from getting hurt.
Conflict with the Spider-Society[]
After being summoned by Miguel, Miles meets Spider-Byte and the leader himself. Despite his resentment towards him, Miguel tried to be nice to Miles as he somewhat appreciated his efforts in trying to stop the Spot. Miles then reunited with Peter. B and meets his daughter Mayday. Miguel tried to reason with Miles first for Gwen, Peter B. and Peni's sake. He then explained to Miles about the Multiverse, his origins and Canon Events. Miles then realized that his father is about to become captain and was going to be killed by the Spot. Also, Miles realized that his friends knew about the Canon Event and feels betrayed. Miguel then lost all patience with Miles and trapped him in a cage to prevent him from disturbing the Canon and doing any more damage to the Multiverse. This horrified Gwen, Peter B., Peni, Mayday and Hobart. Gwen and Peter tried to reason with Miguel in an attempt to remind of him of the promise he made them.
Miles escapes through Hobart's advice as he broke through the cage as the rest of the Spider-People give chase. Not wanting to hurt his new friend, Hobart leaves the Spider-Society as he returns home with some stolen equipment to make his own dimensional watches. Margo also stayed behind and didn't participate in the chase. During the chase, Gwen tries to protect Miles, but he rejects her help. Peter. B is also able to get Miles out of danger for a little bit as he tells him that he had Mayday because of him, but Miles questions why he or the rest of their friends didn't come to see him. Peter. B just tells Miles that he's seeing him now, which he acknowledges and appreciated what he said about him. However, Miguel used Peter. B's watch to track them and tell the Spider-Society where Miles was hiding, this event tricked Miles into thinking Peter. B betrayed him by giving him his location. Although Peter. B tried to tell him that he had no idea that the rest of the Spider-Society was tracking him, Miles ended up believing the ruse as he webbed his mentor and then left.
Upon boarding a bullet train, Miles fought with Miguel while Gwen and Peter. B struggled to keep up. Having let his temper get the better of him, Miguel tells Miles the truth about being the original anomaly and calls him a "mistake". Although Gwen and Peter. B attempted to calm Miguel down and stop him from going back on his word to not tell Miles the truth, Peter. B unfortunately tells Miles by accident that he and Gwen knew about him being the original anomaly. Hearing this, Miles realized why Gwen, Peter. B, Peni and the rest of their friends didn't come see him. While Miguel has him at his mercy, Miles revealed that his intentions of luring many Spider-People away from his headquarters was his plan all along, which impressed Peter B. and Gwen. After blasting Miguel away with his Venom Strike, Miles, who felt guilty for the trouble he caused to the Spider-Gang and hurt by them keeping secrets from him, takes one last look at Gwen and Peter. Believing he won't see them again, Miles bids farewell to Gwen and lets go of the train.
Miles turned invisible and used the Go-Home Machine to get back to his universe. Although Miguel tried to stop him, Miles got away with Margo's help as she decided to send him home at the last minute. After Miles left, Miguel blamed Gwen for what happened as she stood up to him. Not wanting to hurt Miles anymore, Gwen told Miguel that she isn't going to hunt her friend down. However, Miguel realized that Gwen was a liability and sent her back home, excommunicating her from the Spider Society. Before being sent back to her universe, Gwen tells the Spider-Society that they're supposed to be the good guys.
Although shaken by Gwen's words, Miguel assured everyone that they are the good guys then took Jessica and Ben Reilly to Miles' dimension to recapture him. Peter. B, who felt guilty for "betraying", "hurting" and "lying" to Miles, leaves the Spider-Society as he managed to return to his home universe to put Mayday into bed as he talked with MJ while watching their daughter sleep.
Reassembling the Team[]
Once she returns to her universe, Gwen desperately tried to use her watch to travel worlds but is locked out. Defeated, she heads back to her apartment and looks for the picture of her and Miles but is stopped by her father before she can leave. After the two have a heartfelt conversation, Gwen finds out that her father quit and isn't going to be captain. Realizing that Canon Events can be safely altered without destroying the Multiverse, Gwen felt guilty for not standing by Miles. Gwen's father also gives her a gift sent by Hobart Brown: a new watch built by Hobie himself. Gwen tells her father she'll be back, and she goes Miles' universe to save him from the Spider-Society and the Spot.
Gwen takes out Ben Reilly, who was watching Miles' window, before heading inside Miles' room and finding that he is not there. Meanwhile, after exiting the portal, Miles races home as the words of Miguel, his family and members of the Spider-Gang echoed through his head, causing conflicting feelings about being Spider-Man and whether he really was a mistake. Upon returning home, Miles talks with his mother but quickly realizes that he got sent to wrong universe when she has never heard of Spider-Man. Gwen also realizes the same thing. Miles then encounters another version of his dead uncle Aaron and finds out that this universe's version of his dad is already dead, right before getting knocked out by an unknown figure, who turns out to be this universe's version of himself, who had become the Prowler.
After realizing that Miles could be in danger, Gwen overheard his parents talking as Jefferson blamed himself for his son's disappearance. Determined to make things right with Miles, Gwen decided to reveal herself and reassure Jefferson that he isn't to blame for his son's disappearance. Also, Gwen tells Jefferson and Rio that Miles didn't run away from them as she assured them that they mean everything to him. Gwen then tells Miles's parents that she is determined to find their son. Despite initially mistrusting her, Miles' parents appreciate Gwen's determination to help their son, and ask her to bring him home and tell him they love him. Meanwhile, Jessica listens to the conversation, but does not interfere -- her expression denoting a conflict within her. Gwen leaves the apartment and goes to Peter B. Parker's universe for help.
Peter. B was sleeping at his house until he noticed Mayday pointing outside of the window. Grabbing Mayday, he looked outside to see Gwen waiting beside an open portal. Determined to amend things with Miles, Peter whispers to Mayday to not tell her mother as they decide to accompany Gwen. Gwen and Peter. B then brought in Peni, who also decided to leave the Spider-Society, Spider-Noir and Spider-Ham as they reformed the Spider-Gang with Mayday joining them. They are also joined by Hobie, Pavitr and Spider-Byte as they quit the Spider-Society to help Miles, after witnessing or being informed about Miguel's flawed methods. They regrouped in the Parker Residence where after making a plan they began to leave earth-616 and find Miles before the Spider-Society does and then stop the Spot from destroying the Multiverse. Meanwhile, Miles is working on escaping his alternate self and Aaron in order to find a way back to his home dimension so he can save his father and stop the Spot.
