The Klyntars, also referred to as the Symbiotes, are a species of inorganic, amorphous, symbiotic extraterrestrials that exist across the Multiverse. They seek to join other races to managed to be the perfect warriors so they can invade planets as well as devouring other populations.

However, only the perfect blend can create such warriors, with the host be able to be mentally strong enough to be able to take the symbiotic power, but anything less than this requirement will result in a poor match which could result on the host dead. These beings envelope their hosts like suits, creating a parasitic bond through which the host's mind can be influenced. The Symbiotes are also fully sentient and sentient creatures.

More of their ideals, toughs and even their personality derivative from it's host, so if the host has a high standards of mortality the resulting symbiosis would made the Symbiote more less destructive but if it's host is someone with a low standards of Morals (for example a Killer) the resulting symbiosis the resulting symbiosis would corrupt more the Klyntar as well as its host.

Symbiotes are also fully conscious and sentient beings, however they are also vicious and savage, forcing their hosts to take on violent tendencies and corrupting their minds. They symbiote usually take out all the negative feelings of it's user and enhanced it, such as the anger.
